4-H Crafts Project: Needle Crafts, Fine Arts, and Misc Crafts

MISCELLANEOUS CRAFTS

Monroe County Achievement Record Sheet required

  1. Please attach (to the project) 4-H 618A-W “4-H Craft Information Card” for description of work completed on the project. This form is available on our website at https://extension.purdue.edu/monroe/article/4643 or at the Extension Office.
  2. If the article is to hang, it must come ready to hang.

If multiple pieces make up the exhibit, a photograph of the complete exhibit should be attached to the exhibit so the total exhibit can properly be displayed. For safety purposes, any craft exhibit that resembles a sword, knife, or look-alike weapon will be judged but will not be displayed.

You may exhibit a total of six items in the miscellaneous crafts project, limited to one from any specific category. The categories are as follows:

State Fair Entry: Up to six entries (including the champion Farm Display entry) may be chosen.

  1. Please attach (to the project) 4-H 618A-W “4-H Craft Information Card” for description of work completed on the project. This form is available on our website at https://extension.purdue.edu/monroe/article/4643 or at the Extension Office.
  2. All exhibits must be on Canvas, Canvas Board, or Paper and must be FRAMED as a picture and READY FOR HANGING (not just a wire running across the back of a picture). Canvas art on a wooden frame is considered prepared for hanging provided that frame has a hanger.

State Fair Entry: Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion may be selected for State Fair entries as part of the Craft Entries
