4-H Small Engines

NOTE: In addition to your exhibit, complete three activities in the project manual. Bring your manual to exhibit check-in to show your results. Complete three NEW activities each year you take the project.

Poster Requirements: All exhibits are 22”x28” displayed horizontally, mounted on foam core board or thin plywood, peg board, or very stiff cardboard. Project must be covered in clear plastic and Velcro fasteners attached to the back.

Actual Engine Display: The actual small engine may be displayed. It must be mounted on a stable base no larger than 30" x 30". For safety reasons, all fluids (fuel and oil) must be removed. Note: It is strongly suggested that a notebook with details and pictures of what was done to the engine accompany the display.

Display Board Requirements: A three-dimensional display, no more than 36” wide x 24” deep and free standing. All items to be securely fastened.
