College Scholarships Opportunities for Monroe County 4-H members.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), almost one in ten people have diabetes. People living with diabetes are at risk for a number of complications, including loss of eyesight, nerve damage, heart disease, stroke, and kidney disease. The good news is that these complications can be delayed or prevented through proper management of diabetes.
Last year was such a success we are going to do it again! Help us design the 2015 T-Shirt that will represent Monroe County 4-H! This year's theme is "#4H4U"
The Monroe County Fair features a large variety of 4-H events and shows as well as numerous open events for all ages. Animals, livestock sale, foods, clothing, crafts, tractors, horticulture, entertainment, Queen contest, Baby contest, and the Talent show are just a few of the annual Monroe County Fair highlights. Gather the family together, get Mom out of the kitchen, and head for the 2015 Monroe County Fair for a great family outing.
The Bloomington Walking Club is an informal group that meets for a guided group walk on the paved trails surrounding Olcott Park.
4-H Science Workshops is a program held at Purdue University specifically designed to offer 4-H members and other students a hands-on, realistic, and exciting opportunity to learn about Science, Technology, Agriculture, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEAM) careers.
