In 2018, the Purdue Extension produce safety training team will provide training for growers, packers, processors and sellers of fresh produce. Training sessions will be held at seven locations throughout Indiana.
Savvy retailers know you might be stressed out while you're shopping, and will be encouraging you to treat yourself. Two messages have been seen in promotions from retailers: 1. Those that encourage purchases as a way to improve one's life, which can appeal to someone stressed out as they seek to solve some unpleasantness in their lives. 2. Another messaging seen is the sense of urgency, the 'get it before it's gone', and 'one day only' sales which plays to emotional shoppers.
