There are usually many dates throughout the year for Lake County Farmers to get credits towards the pesticide licenses. The following are some local programs available for recertification credits:
- Pinney Purdue Field Day at Pinney Purdue Ag Center in Wanatah, IN will be August 20, 2014.
- Illiana Vegetable Growers Symposium at Teibel's in Schererville, IN. 2015 still to be announced.
- Winter Farmer's Breakfast Meeting at Harry O's in Cedar Lake, IN will be February 25, 2015.

Commercial Pesticide License
If you are a farmer that sprays pesticide commercially, over more than your own property, you will need to acquire a Commercial Pesticide License. Private Pesticide Applicator License
If you spray pesticides only on your own agriculture fields, you will need to acquire a Private Applicator License.
