What: 4-H CAMP!!
Where: Camp Shakamak at Shakamak State Park, Jasonville, IN
When: Monday, June 5 – Wednesday, June 7, 2017
Leave Johnson County Fairgrounds at 8:30 a.m. June 5 and return around 11:30 am June 7
Who: 4-H members who are now enrolled in grades 3-6. 4-H members from Hamilton, Hancock, Marion and Shelby Counties will be camping with Johnson County.
Cost: Camp fee is $90.00. This covers camp fees, t-shirt, insurance, park admission and transportation. Craft material and snack food items will require some additional spending money.
1st Time Camper’s Scholarship: The 4-H Council will provide a $20.00 scholarship for each
4-H member attending camp for the 1st time. This means 1st time campers’ fee will be $70.00!
Registration: The enclosed registration form is due with the camp fee by Monday, May 1st. Due to limited space at the camp, the first 39 registered 4-H members will be allowed to attend. After that, those wishing to attend will be put on a waiting list on a first-come, first-serve basis. Checks can be made payable to the Johnson County 4-H Council.
