January 25: State 4-H Scholarship Deadline. [Scholarship]
February 15: Beef ID Day, Steers/Cross bred Heifers, Registered Heifers encouraged. [Animal ID Forms]
February 1: Communication will cease until member is enrolled in 4-H [4-H Online link:4-H Online]
February 15: Communication will cease until the $20 program fee has been paid.
March – April: YQCA Classes. Dates To Be Announced. Deadline June 15.
April 1: Beef Steers must be entered into 4HOnline. [4-H Online]
May 9: Livestock ID Day; Meat Goat, Sheep and Swine. [Animal ID Forms]
May 12: Animal Entry/Project Night:Office will be open till 7pm to assist with Animal Entry and any project questions/needs.
May 15: Animals entered into 4HOnline. [4-H Online]
May 15: Swine and Beef Heifer DNA (for State Fair) due in office.
May: Rabbit Tattoo and Poultry Blood Testing. Dates To Be Announced.
May 16-June 15: Fair Entry, projects and livestock [Fair Entry]
May 16 - Poultry Blood Testing/Banding
June: Fair Entry/Project Night: Date to be announced - Office will be open till 7pm to assist with Fair Entry and any project questions/needs.
June 15: Local Senior Scholarship Deadline into the Extension Office.
June 15: YQCA deadline. All livestock exhibitors are required to have this certification to EXHIBIT at the Fair. This is an annual certification.
July 10: Building Project Check-In
July 11: Animal Check-In
July 11-17: Greene County Fair
