In-person Forest Management for the Private Woodland Owner course

The Forest Management for the Private Woodland Owner course provides eight weekly meetings on Wednesday evenings between March 6 and April 24, 2023, from 6 to 9 pm eastern, and two Saturday morning field tours from 9 am to noon, covering topics designed to help forest landowners learn more about their forests, management options, and where to find information and assistance. Topics covered include tree id, forest history and biology, forest management planning, forest management practices, considerations for selling timber, economics and taxation of private woodlands, wildlife habitat management, and resources and assistance available to private landowners.

Registration deadline is Feb 27, 2024 or until the course limit of 48 attendees is reached.
