Barn Quilt Creation Workshop
Purdue Extension – Washington County is hosting a Barn Quilt Creation Workshop in August 2025. The workshop consists of four sessions. Participants are expected to attend all four sessions. Session dates and times are: Monday, August 11 from 5:30-8:00 pm; Tuesday, August 12 from 5:30-7:00 pm; Monday, August 18 from 5:30-7:00 pm; and Tuesday, August 19 from 5:30-7:00 pm. All sessions are held at the Washington County Government Building Meeting Room at 806 Martinsburg Rd. in Salem. Pre-registration is required by Friday, August 1, 2025, as space is limited. The workshop is free, thanks to generous support from the Indiana Arts Commission.
The workshop is for all skill levels and no prior experience is required. Each class will include demonstrations, educational content, and fellowship in a creative atmosphere. All supplies (wood boards, paint, brushes, etc.) are provided. During registration, participants are asked to identify a specific design and three color choices for their barn quilt.
