Beginning Farmer Breakfast

The Washington County Conservation Partnership is planning a Beginning Farmer Breakfast on Saturday, November 4, 2023 for beginning farmers and new landowners.  This program is co-sponsored by the Soil & Water Conservation District, Purdue Extension, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Farm Service Agency, and Farm Bureau Inc.  Attendees will learn about programs and services these organizations offer to beginning farmers.  It is often confusing to know who to call with questions as a beginning farmer. This program will get attendees acquainted with agencies and programs relevant to beginning farmers. 

Breakfast and registration begin at 7:30 am at the Washington County Government Building (806 Martinsburg Rd.) in Salem, IN.  Participants should RSVP to the Washington County SWCD office by Wednesday, November 1, 2023 by calling 812-883-3006, ext. 3 or emailing wcswcd20@gmail.com.
