4-H Scholarship Workshop

4-H SCHOLARSHIP WORKSHOP

Would you like to learn more about 4-H scholarship opportunities and strengthen your scholarship applications? Join us for a Scholarship Workshop on December 2 at the new Purdue Extension Warren County office (408 E SR 28, Wmspt) at 6 pm. Youth in grades 9-12 should participate. Parents are also welcome. Please call the office to register, 765-762-3231.

Below are brief descriptions of each 4-H scholarship available. 4-H Scholarships are to be submitted through 4HOnline and are due January 25. Scholarship applications may be found at bit.ly/in4hscholarship or picked up at the Extension office.

4-H Accomplishment Scholarship, Due January 25
Available to 4-H members in grades 10-12 and the year immediately following high school graduation. The purpose is to recognize youth who have excelled in life skills development through their 4-H activities and involvement. Many different categories available. 

4-H Senior Year Scholarship, Due January 25 
Available to 4-H members in their senior year of high school. Warren County         
4-H seniors are assured of 3.

4-H Club Scholarship, Due January 25
Available to 4-H members entering Purdue University majoring in the College of Agriculture or select majors in the College of Health and Human Sciences.

Purdue Horticulture & Landscape Architecture Scholarship, Due January 25
Available to a 4-H member majoring in horticulture or landscape architecture at Purdue University and studied plant science in 4-H.

Warren County Extension Homemakers Scholarship, Due January 15
One $500 scholarship available to a senior in Warren County, enrolled in one of the Purdue schools of Health and Human Sciences. This scholarship is submitted through the Warren County Community Foundation, not 4HOnline.
