Physical Activity Across the Lifespan

This introductory program that provides an overview about the importance of physical activity. This program reviews terms, recommendations, and benefits of physical activity, along with information on dance as a creative form of physical activity. There is also a movement break included for participants and an opportunity for them to set a personal movement goal.
AIMS:
• Review why movement is important for everyone
• Learn how to create positive experiences while being physically active
• Learn how dance can improve strength, balance, flexibility, and mental health
• To increase physical activity across the lifespan
• Create a SMART physical activity goal
