Scott County PARP
Scott County Purdue Extension Educator for Ag & Natural Resources, Tom Springstun, is hosting a PARP/CCH Event for private and commercial pesticide applicators on Tuesday evening, April 18 from 6:30-8:30 PM, and repeating the same event on Wednesday morning the 19th from 9-11 AM. Both sessions will be held at the Saddle Club Building on the Scott County fairgrounds, 710 Fairgrounds Road, Scottsburg, IN 47170.
Registration for each program begins 30 minutes prior to their start time, and since this is the same program presented at two different times, attendance at only one of these will count towards PARP/CCH credits.
PARP stands for Pesticide Applicators Recertification Program and is a way for private pesticide applicators to keep their license to purchase and apply restricted use pesticides active, and similarly CCH is Continuing Certification Hours for commercial pesticide applicators. The CCH’s approved for this program is 2 for Category 1 & RT, and one for Category 1.
The PARP fee for this program is being waived, courtesy of our sponsors Indiana Soybean Alliance and Indiana Corn Marketing Council, utilizing checkoff funds.
Pre-registration is not required, but appreciated by April 12 by contacting
