Get Connected with Purdue Extension's Digital Agriculture Program
We are pleased to invite you to the Institute for Digital and Advanced Agricultural Systems (IDAAS) Seminar Series, featuring Adam Shanks and Danielle Lay as they deliver a presentation titled "Get Connected with Purdue Extension's Digital Agriculture Programs”.
They will introduce Purdue Extension's programs that are focused on digital agriculture and discuss opportunities for faculty and staff to partner with Purdue Extension to make agriculture in Indiana more efficient, productive, and sustainable. Explore how Purdue Extension translates digital agriculture research directly to growers in Indiana through numerous programs, including the UAV Signature Program, Digital Ag Van, Purdue on the Farm, and Applicator Drone Signature Program. Learn how Purdue Extension is building digital and agricultural literacy in the future workforce through offering a digital agriculture curriculum for high schools, hosting on-campus youth summer programs focused on digital agriculture, and developing curricula for Digital Ag clubs for youth.
The presentation is free to attend and on March 27th in WSLR 116. It will be from 11:30am to 12:30pm.
