Join Purdue Extension for a Field Crop Irrigation Update.

Irrigation is a management practice used for a wide variety of intensive cropping situations. The Irrigation Update explores the push for better water use efficiency, the emphasis on irrigation scheduling uniformity and other irrigation BMPs to reduce production cost while protecting the environment. Crop management practice to maximize the benefit of an irrigated crop will be explored from yield and profit view. Irrigators will be made aware of water use legal requirements and current research to gage the impact of Indiana’s irrigation water use on surround water resource and how it may affect Indiana future water use policy.
