Purdue Extension helps Indiana build vibrant communities, strong families, and profitable businesses on its main streets and its farm gates. Come see what we can do for you!
The 4-H shooting sports project teaches safe operation of firearms and archery equipment. Volunteer instructors must be certified at a workshop. Six disciplines are offered at the state level: archery, outdoor skills, muzzle loading, pistol, rifle, and shotgun. The disciplines offered in any county will depend on the availability of certified 4-H shooting sports instructors to teach the classes, ranges, and equipment.
Not going anywhere for fall break? Looking for something fun for kids to do? Then join us for our Spooky Maker Space Day. Purdue Extension and Dubois County 4-H invite youth to join us for a day to engage in hands-on activities. Participants will have the opportunity to design, tinker, build, and create new things while engaging with cool, innovative new tools. Some of the tools that youth will get the chance to work with include Makey Makeys, 3D pens, Ozobots, Keva Planks, and more!
