Inspire Young Farmers' Career Paths

$35 Gets Classes/Groups Full Access to Small Farm Conference!

Individuals can also register for $35 per person.


The 2021 Indiana Small Farm Conference is pleased to offer sessions on agriculture careers and education paths for middle- and high-school youth at its March 4-6 virtual conference, presented using Microsoft Teams.

Teachers and advisors can register entire classes or groups for just $35. That includes access to all conference
sessions as they happen and archival access for later use. Individuals can also register for $35 per person.

Exploring Agriculture and Small Farm Careers, an interactive
discussion about careers in:


SATURDAY, MARCH 6: 10a-Noon, 2-4p EST

Show-and-tell discussions generally led by youth presenters,
with topics that include:

Chats with Purdue Ag Ambassadors and Purdue’s chapter of Minorities
in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) on
college agriculture experiences.

We will be using Quiz Bowl Systems, which has made some wonderful improvements. The system no longer requires a download and can be accessed anywhere with WiFi.  


Horse CommunicationsThe week of June 7th , 2021 (virtual) .   Youth will sign up for time slots to deliver their presentation live to judges via Zoom.  This will allow judges to ask questions and provide feedback etc.

In lieu of the annual Workshop held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, Purdue
Extension and the Indiana State Fair Dog Show Leadership Committee will be
holding a virtual meeting/Question & Answer session for 4-H Dog leaders, trainers,
volunteers, judges and anyone interested in becoming more involved with the 4-H
Dog Project.
