Cass County 4-H
In 4‑H, we believe in the power of young people. We see that every child has valuable strengths and real influence to improve the world around us. Program Areas of 4-H include STEM, agriculture, healthy living and civic engagement. Cass County offers various 4-H projects to allow youth to learn and grow through each program area.
Cass County youth in 3rd-12th grade can participate in regular 4-H. Our Mini 4-H program is available for first and second grade youth, while our KinderClovers program is open to all Kindergarteners. There are currently ten 4-H clubs in the county that will provide leadership and learning activities as part of the 4-H program.
4-H Enrollment for young people and adult volunteers is always open with 4-H Online. We encourage you to sign up between October 1st and January 15th of each year to get the most out of your 4-H experience. Learn more about joining 4-H and volunteering here.

Cass County Volunteer Information
Cass County's 4-H Youth Development Program has a variety of involvement opportunities available. We rely heavily on adults who care about the development of youth in Cass County in order to deliver positive youth development experiences to our youth. All volunteers must complete a volunteer application and screening process and participate in training provided by your County 4-H Educator. Individuals annually reaffirm their commitment to serving as 4-H Volunteers.
This application is required for all volunteers. It only needs to be completed once as a volunteer and submitted to the Extension office.
