The current program offers a series of classes. You can attend one session or the whole series.  A Purdue Extension City Gardener Program certificate is awarded to those who attend all six sessions.

What topics are covered?

Topics included in the program are: how plants grow; soil, nutrients & composting; pests & pest management, including insects, diseases, weeds & animal pests; vegetable gardening basics & growing specific vegetables; growing flowers including annuals, perennials, flowering bulbs & ornamental grasses; grass selection, planting & care of your lawn; tree & shrub planting & maintenance as well as selecting trees and shrubs.

When is the next class?

The next program will take place on Tuesday evenings from April 2 through May 7, 2019, from 6:00-8:30 PM.
