Want to learn more about invasive species? Join the Harrison counties new CISMA (Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area), the Harrison County native Habitat Alliance! Their mission is to conserve the habitats of Harrison County Indiana by educating our community on the impacts of invasive species. They are dedicated in teaching the Harrison County Community how to become environmental stewards. Harrison County makes a difference.



The Harrison County native Habitat Alliance needs a logo, and we want YOU to design it! Vote for your favorite on Facebook when we post the top three designs! Our mission is "to conserve the habitats of Harrison County, Indiana by educating our community on the impacts of invasive species."

Contest Rules:

How to Enter: Email your entry to medge@purdue.edu or drop it off at the Corydon branch of the Harriso County Public Library, or the Harrison County Purdue Extesnion Office. Include the design along with your name, age, phone number, address, and email.

All contestants agree by entering that all legal rights to the winning logo will belong to Harrison County native Habitat Alliance. The winning logo designer will be announced on Facebook!


The Next Meeting

The next CISMA Planning Meeting will be September 23 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Hayswood park, 755 Hwy 135 NE, Corydon IN. We're meeting at the Persimmon Ridge Shelter House to plan for our very first Weed Wrangle in Harrison County. Join the founding members for an evening in the park.
