4-H Arts & Crafts: Wearable Art Project

The Arts and Crafts 4-H project allows youth to learn life skills and grow in project knowledge while expressing creativity in a variety of mediums. Wearable art allows you to be creative and show it off! Make and put designs on a shirt, sweater, or even a bag and enter them into the fair. You can be as creative as you would like, have fun!

Level A (grades 3-4)

Level B (grades 5-6)

Level C (grades 7-9)

Resources

No manual required; however, you need to fill out a Lake County record sheet (attached below)

**Only a Lake County Record Sheet is needed**

General Exhibit Requirements

Arts & Crafts Record Sheet Required (No Manual) 

  1. Creatively decorate an article of clothing or accessory that can be worn or carried, such as a tote bag, hat, shoes, hair accessory, belt, etc. There is a separate project for Jewelry Making.
  2. Members may exhibit up to two entries each year.
  3. Projects are expected to increase in difficulty each year.
  4. Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion may be selected for State Fair entry (Crafts).
