Purdue Extension: Expert Resources for COVID-19

4HOnline and FairEntry information

October 21, 2020

Please remember if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact the office.

Current members: REMEMBER!! Your 4-H profile can be found on 4HOnline

4HOnline v2.0 is now live. Kinks are still being worked out with some things, but you should be able to enroll now!

Please don't make duplicate profiles if you can't get logged in correctly please contact the office.

We are excited to see all of your wonderful 4-H projects at the Fair!! Before you bring your projects to the fair you must enter each 4-H member’s projects on the
4-H FairEntry system that coincides with the 4HOnline system where you completed your 4-H enrollment. This year, ALL entries will be done online, and record sheets will still be turned in to the Extension office on or before July 1st.

We understand that this may be time consuming, however, this process is required especially for ease of project check-in and those non-animal projects moving on to State Fair.

FairEntry works with the 4HOnline system, so families will use their 4HOnline profiles and passwords.  You will not have to create another password.  4-H’ers will need to enter each “exhibit” or “project” they plan to bring to the 4-H Fair in the FairEntry system.  This will be the way the Extension Office prepares the check-in/judging sheets and records the fair results.

Think of this system like this: Anything that gets entered and judged at our 4-H Fair should be pre-registered in FairEntry.

This process must be completed by July 1.

You may start entering members’ information, just do not submit until you have completed all 4-H members in the family. Note for some reason this system will state that there is a fee, however when you get to the end of the entry it will show a zero charge – there is NO FEE

If you have any questions or need assistance in any way, we will be happy to help. If you run into a question, you may skip and go on to another entry and your items will be saved.  You may contact us at 317-736-3724 during office hours, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. If after hours, you may notify Lori Walker at walkerl@purdue.edu. When you have everything completed in FairEntry, please be sure to submit your entries.

Please do not wait until the last moment, if you need assistance, please contact us. Remember, July 1st!!

However, projects such as Garden, might need to wait to be done until the end of the June. This will keep this as accurate as possible.

Thank you so much for your time and patience!

A few things to remember about FairEntry.
