The foods project is designed to help youth have fun in the kitchen as they prepare different foods, do fun experiments, and go on fact finding missions. There are six categories: healthy food selection, smart food purchasing, food safety and science, food preparation, food preservation and careers and food around the world.
Exhibits will be judged according to grade level
Level 1 for Grades 3-4
Level 2 for Grades 5-6
Level 3 for Grades 7-8-9
Level 4 for Grades 10-11-12
Record Sheets - Due at Check In
Exhibits MUST include a Foods Recipe Card for both Baked Item and Preserved Item
Exhibit entry - Monday, July 13, 2020 at 5 pm - 6 pm with judging beginning at 6 pm
