Enrollment for Indiana 4-H begins October 1, 2016 and will continue to January 15th, 2017. Enrollment for Mini 4-H (K-2 graders) and Regular 4-H (3-12 grade) is available online at in.4honline.com.
The Jr. Leader project in Adams County allows 4-H members in grades 7-12 the opportunity to learn life skills that are important to be effective leaders of themselves and of groups. Through this project, members will participate in hands-on activities, community service events, assist in a wide range of activities at the 4-H Fair and be a part of other activities that are designed to develop these skills. The Jr. Leader year starts in October and runs through the end of the fair in Adams County.
The 2016 Adams County Fair Yearbook is ready for your viewing. The Yearbook features a complete listing of the 2016 Fair Project Results as well as highlight from this past years fair. Additional printed copies are available at the Extension Office.
Overall, soybean yields were a highlight. It appears those areas which got a few more scattered rains during the summer and August faired better.

Teens as Teachers Conference is an opportunity for youth in grades 9-12 to learn subject matter, educational delivery, organization, experiential learning and more through a hands-on workshop that will prepare teams to delivery fun, hands-on learning experiences to youth in their county and area.
