The Purdue Center for Commercial Agriculture will broadcast a webinar on Monday evening, June 17th at 6 p.m. (EDT) entitled “Corn & Soybean Price Outlook: Making Your 2019 Soybean Prevented Planting Decisions”. The webinar will feature Purdue ag economists Michael Langemeier, Chris Hurt, and Jim Mintert who will provide an updated corn and soybean price outlook. Included will be information from USDA’s June 17th Crop Progress report scheduled for release that afternoon. In addition, they will also provide their analysis of the soybean prevented planting alternatives facing Corn Belt farmers and run through multiple scenarios to help sort through decisions as the June 20th final soybean planting date for full crop insurance coverage approaches in Indiana and the Eastern Corn Belt.
