Updated 4-H Animal ID Requirements for 2020:
- The deadline to have animal ID completed in 4-H Online has been extended to July 1st.
- All livestock ID days have been cancelled. 4-H members will need to pick up tags for their animals at the Extension Office. Call the Extension Office (824-6412) to set up a time to pick up tags. Families will be responsible for putting the tags in themselves. See the links below for information on how to tag your animals.
- COUNTY ONLY livestock is not longer required to have a photo uploaded into 4-H Online (with the exception of horses, ponies, alpacas and llamas). Many species are required to have photos uploaded by July 1st if they are bound for the STATE FAIR. See the updated lists below for ID requirements.
- All DNA samples for state fair bound swine, beef, dairy beef, dairy feeders, sheep and meat goats will be due in the Extension Office by July 1st. Envelopes are available in the Extension office. Call the Extension Office (824-6412) for a time to pick up DNA envelopes.

Note: the tags in the videos may actually be different tags than what you will be using, the positioning of the tag and the application procedure is the same. It does not matter which ear is tagged.
