Students attended a variety of sessions discussing safety in the following areas: internet, electricity, bicycle, lawn equipment, methamphetamine & other substances, grain, first aid, animals, and home. Each session shared what safety measures should be utilized in each of the many situations that students may experience.
Purdue Extension Educators and Centaur Holdings staff visited the Farm and Home Safety Day in hopes of emulating the efforts in Shelby County at the sister racetrack in Anderson.
