Purdue Extension is offering a workshop on leadership and legacy planning for families in agricultural businesses.
Young women who are interested in agricultural careers will have the opportunity to learn about their future roles in the industry at the Young Ladies of Agriculture Northern Indiana Forum. This event is open to girls and young women in grades 8-12 and is held in conjunction with the Midwest Women in Agriculture Conference. It will take place Feb. 22, 4-8 p.m. at the Swan Lake Resort, 5203 Plymouth LaPorte Trail, Plymouth.
This year's Indiana Small Farm Conference begins with a series of workshops and a tour of some of the state's most innovative urban agriculture operations. The daylong workshops will be offered March 2, at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and Conference Center, 1900 E. Main St., Danville.
