Fish, Leaves, Tracks, Fur, Thunder, Soil & Water Science . . . is a 4-H volunteer education session led by Kim Beadles and Mark Evans of Purdue Extension Putnam County. The event occurred at the Bi-State 4-H Judges and Leaders Clinic at Cloverdale High School on February 7, 2015. This page is the resource page for the session with links and document download options below. The following was a description of the program session:
Many are familiar with the traditional natural resource poster projects of Weather, Soil Conservation, Sports Fishing and Wildlife. Several changes have occurred in natural resource project curriculums. Additionally, many are not aware of the Career Development Experiences that are available for 4-H/FFA Youth to engage in team building roles and learn via hands-on activities. This session certainly leaves no youth indoors and can spice up club activities with outdoor STEM adventure as we review these opportunities and share county experiences!
