T-SHIRT DESIGN COMPETITION – ENTRIES DUE AT NEXT MEETING: T-Shirt designs are needed! Bring your t-shirt ideas to the next Junior Leader meeting. Did you know there is a “Design Lab” at https://www.customink.com/ where you can design a shirt? You can save/send/print your design idea to share with Junior Leaders! Or maybe you might like to just customize a classic 4-H design at http://www.4-hmall.org/Category/apparel-t-shirts-custom.aspx. Bring your ideas and suggestions to the next meeting!

AREA SHARE-THE-FUN PERFORMING ARTS EVENT: We will host the Area 10 Performing Arts event on Friday, May 19th at the Memorial Opera House. We’ll need your help to make it happen. Please mark your calendar.

Thanks to all the Junior Leaders who made the county event happen!

FINANCIAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS:  Purdue Extension - Porter County & Porter County 4-H will partner with 1st Source Bank to provide educational programming for youth, young adults, and parents on financial topics AT OUR MAY JUNIOR LEADER MEETING. This is important #ADULTING kind of stuff, bring a parent/guardian and join us!

4-H 4 MILE HUSTLE & KIDS FUN RUN: What are your ideas to incorporate into this year’s kids’ run at the 4-H 4 Mile Hustle? Do some online searching for other kids’ runs as well as kids’ fun runs that are specifically at fairs and be ready to discuss your ideas with the group.

DROP/ADD DEADLINE IS MAY 15TH: Check your 4-H Online account and make sure you’re enrolled in Junior Leaders! Oftentimes 4-Hers forget that they need to enroll in Junior Leaders just like you do for other projects. J

GERANIUM SALE: See the March Pandemonium (www.tinyurl.com/PorterCo4HNews) for details on the Geranium sale! Please be sure to have your buyers list your 4-H Club -OR- Junior Leaders and a portion of the proceeds will go to that group. Get out there and sell geraniums! Did you know the 4-H Council gives prizes to the top sellers? Our very own BENTLEY WILSON has been top seller every year since the awards system began! Why not give Bentley a little friendly competition? ;-)
