Seth, Tessa, Trey, and Summer Guillaume Donated Food to St. Martin's Food Pantry
Kudos to all of the 4-H’ers, parents, and leaders who are supporting youth in helping others through a variety of service projects. These service projects include the Guillaume Family from Branchville Bunch who provided St. Martin’s Food Pantry with much-needed items like canned meat and beans, soups, crackers, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, peanut butter and more. Leopold Gang and Gatchel 4-H Clubs had several members clean up the roadway in their area. The TC Leprechauns made cards to bring cheer to hospital patients and made thank you notes and provided snacks to hospital workers at Perry County Memorial Hospital. Several families plan to plant vegetables and will donate the harvest to people in need, and another is planning to make more blessing boxes to make food available throughout the county.
Keep these service projects going! Funds are available to support efforts, thanks to a grant from the Indiana 4-H Foundation. For information on how to qualify for these funds, contact Cathy Boerste. Let’s show everyone how 4-H’ers are making a difference in the community through their pledge of “Hands to Larger Service”!
