4-H Youth Development programs help youth learn life skills through informal, hands-on activities. These programs and activities help youth develop their leadership skills and explore future career options.

4-H is available to all youth in kindergarten through grade 12. Participation in the 4-H program is not limited to "farm kids." Many who participate in 4-H are involved in projects that are not related to agriculture! Projects include arts and crafts, photography, foods, woodworking, electricity, shooting sports, and dozens of other options.
