Completed record sheets and Scrapbooks are due into the Extension Office on or before Julne 29, 2020, 4:00 PM. No records, or late/incomplete record sheets will result in an exhibit being considered for EXHIBITION ONLY—NO PLACING.

This is a project that teaches you how to preserve memories. Choose one theme for the focus of your scrapbook.
For upper divisions, include all your scrapbooks in your exhibit, i.e. if you have filled 2 or 3 scrapbooks with your theme, bring them to be judged along with your current year pages.
EXHIBIT REQUIREMENTS: Plastic page protectors are required for all levels.
Beginner (grades 3 through 5)
Exhibit: 4 completed pages (2 pages front and back) for judging
Layout: 2 to 3 colors of paper, stickers, and die cuts can be used, but are not mandatory.
Cropping: Straight cutting of photos, using regular scissors or a paper cutter. Decorative scissors can be used on colored paper. Corner rounders (simple or decorative) can be used on photos and paper.
Journaling: Exhibit must have captions with names, dates, places, etc.
Intermediate (grades 6 through 8)
Exhibit: Complete the Beginner requirements, plus 8 new completed pages (4 pages front and back) for judging.
Layout: More creative layouts. Creative borders, stickers and lettering can be used.
Cropping: Decorative scissors may be used to crop pictures. Circle, oval and other shaped templates may be used.
Journaling: Exhibit must include captions (one paragraph per page) with names, dates, places, etc. and also memorabilia and/or documentation.

Advanced (grades 9 through 12)
Exhibit: Complete the Intermediate requirements, plus 12 new completed pages (6 pages front and back) for judging.
Layout: Exhibit may include a pop up page, pocket page or kaleidoscope type layout, but not every page has to use these types. Use techniques you have learned in previous divisions. Include a variety of layouts.
Cropping: Silhouette cropping can be used in addition to techniques you have learned in previous divisions.
Journaling: Exhibit must include captions with names, dates, places, etc. and also contain memorabilia and/or documentation with 5 pages of journaling to be included in the 12 pages.
