Small Engine Poster

January 14, 2020

Completed record sheets and manuals are due into the Extension Office on or before June 29, 2020, 4:00 PM. No records, or late/incomplete record sheets/manuals will result in an exhibit being considered for EXHIBITION ONLY—NO PLACING. One State Fair entry per level.

A non-driving portion has been added to the Petroleum Power project. The following small engine display requirements apply to exhibits for all three (3) levels. See Poster Construction Rules on page 24 of your Handbook for a poster exhibit. An educational board display/3 dimensional display should not exceed 36” wide x 36” deep, and be free standing, all items to be securely fastened. Name card to be secured in the lower right hand corner. Title your display/poster: “Small Engines—Level 1, 2 OR 3”.

Actual Engine Display: The actual small engine may be displayed. It must be mounted on a stable base no larger that 30” x 30”. For safety reasons, all fluids (fuel and oil) must be removed.

***Note: It is strongly suggested that a notebook with details and pictures of what was done to the engine accompany the display.
