Dear 4-H Sewing and Consumer Clothing Members and Adult Leaders: Fashion Revue Private Judging will be held at Morgan County Fairgrounds (note location), Martinsville Wednesday, July 11. Registration is at 5:30 p.m. and Judging will start at 6:00 p.m. The Public Fashion Revue will be held on Thursday, July 12, 7:00 p.m. at the 4-H Building, Morgan County Fairgrounds. As you can see, these programs are back to back and the Extension Office will need advanced information to complete the program.

Our next meeting is Monday, July 9th at 6:00 pm at the Junior Leaders stand. We will be cleaning the stands and signing up for shifts. Be sure you have your fair schedule with you so you're on the right track with your loaded calendar! (Note the time is early.) Wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that you can get dirty
Our next Junior Leader meeting is Monday, June 11th at the fairgrounds at 7:00 p.m. We need everyone at this meeting as we will discuss food safety and procedures working in the food stand. Pet Parade Parade Committee will meet at 6:30pm
Our October meeting is Monday, October 8th at 7:00 p.m. We will finish elections and do some fun team-building activities, so be there at the fairgrounds 4-H Building in the Wilber Kendall Room. Be sure to check out all the upcoming events: • October 13th IndYouth Food Challenge - we have two teams going! • November 8th Project Fair (Open House) 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Morgan County Fairgrounds • November 12th Community Table Dinner (WE HOST THIS!) at Martinsville First Christian Church.

4-H Poultry Upcoming Workshops
4-H Rabbit Information Letter, Workshop Info and ID Enrollment Form. ID paper must be turned into the Extension Office or at the 4-H Rabbit Workshop on May 15.
This is a reminder that the 4-H Sheep weigh in is set for Friday, May 11th at the Fairgrounds in the north end of the Sheep Barn at 6:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. as stated in the newsletter. Make sure you bring your Premise ID number. If you do not have a premise number you may contact BOAH (317-544-2381) to request this number.
Swine tagging days will be Saturday May 5th from 8:00 am-Noon and Sunday May 6th from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Both dates will be held in the swine barn at the fairgrounds. During these times you may either bring your pigs to the fairgrounds to be tagged or you can pick up tags, and tag your pigs yourself. If you are tagging your swine yourself, you need to pick up your swine tags and hair sample envelope at one of the tagging days. There will be a charge for all tags of $4.00 each. *All swine show
Starting October 1 all returning 4-H members, volunteers and new 4-H members, volunteers can sign up for the 2018-2019 4-H Year. Please read the instructions carefully. There are separate instructions for New Members & Adult Volunteers and Returning Members & Volunteers. If you have any questions, please call the Extension Office (765-342-1010)
