Purdue Extension - Marion County will be providing a hands-on training for anyone who works with youth in a garden. Activities, Basic Gardening, Curriculum, and more are some of the things that will be covered.
Join us Thursday, May 26, in Indianapolis for a lunch and tour program to support beginning farmers and new urban farmers. The lunch discussion will focus on key farm tools for small, intensively managed acres while touring this urban farm that produces fresh, healthy foods using organic practices. Lunch will be followed by a tour of a thriving urban farm, South Circle Farm, led by farm owner Amy Matthews.
Marion County Master Gardener classes begin September 13, 2016. Registration forms will be available this summer.
