Leadership is the ability to motivate, inspire, and create an environment for each individual to pro-actively participate in family, community and citizenship affairs for the betterment of the family, community and world. Junior Leaders helps 4-H members develop their leadership skills, increase involved in the community, and discover a voice to make change happen.
The 4-H Project Handbook is your source for information on 4-H projects offered in La Porte County. The handbook includes project descriptions and exhibit requirements. Club and committee information on meeting times and contacts.
** NEW DEADLINES** See the April "Note"able for new announcement!!! Any 4-H member wising to exhibit beef cattle, dairy cattle, swine, sheep, meat goats (includes pygmy), dairy goats, poultry/waterfowl/pigeon, and rabbits, must be certified through the Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) program. Training must be completed by May 15. This is a hard deadline.
