2015 4-H Achievement Award

This year the Achievement Award will be done on a points scale just like last year.

 

For the 3rd-6th Grade need 9 points to be eligible for the trip:

Required Points

  • Attend 4, 4-H Meetings during the 2015 4-H Year. (Each meeting counts for 1 point.) Attendance will be taken at each 4-H Club meeting and 4-H leaders will turn in their meeting attendance sheets in August.
  • Attend your club’s scheduled work day at the fair. (Each day is 2 points.) (Set-Up, Tear-Down, or Livestock/Horse/Rabbit Club Workdays) Attendance will be taken at these events.
  • Complete 1 project you signed up for by exhibiting that project at the Knox County Fair.

Other available Points. They need 2 points from the following.

  • 1 point for any additional projects completed you signed up for by exhibiting that project at the Knox County Fair.
  • 1 point for each County or Club activity attended outside of club meetings.
  • 1 point for attending 4-H Camp.

 

For the 7th-12th Grade need 12 points to be eligible for the trip:

Required Points

  • Attend 5, 4-H Meetings during the 2015 4-H Year. (Each meeting counts for 1 point.) Attendance will be taken at each 4-H Club meeting and 4-H leaders will turn in their meeting attendance sheets in August.
  • Attend your club’s scheduled work day at the fair. (Each day is 2 points.) (Set-Up, Tear-Down, or Livestock/Horse/Rabbit Club Workdays) Attendance will be taken at these events.
  • Complete 1 project you signed up for by exhibiting that project at the Knox County Fair.
  • Enrolled in Junior Leaders

Other available Points. They need 3 points from the following.

  • 1 point for any additional projects completed you signed up for by exhibiting that project at the Knox County Fair.
  • 1 point for each County or Club activity attended outside of club meetings.
  • 1 point for be a camp counselor for 4-H Camp.
  • 1 point for each filled out Foundation Scholarship or Accomplishment Scholarship.
  • 1 point for each State 4-H Trip or Workshop attended.
