Purdue University is pleased to offer Indiana fruit and vegetable farmers a farm walk-through with a private food safety consultant. This opportunity is open to any farm that sells fresh produce and has attended a produce safety educational program. A consultant paid by Purdue will visit your farm to walk through and address your specific farm and packinghouse food safety questions
Come watch and learn from a chef on how to prepare seasonal produce for May and June. Purdue Extension will also teach on nutrition and growing the featured item in your garden!
The 'Incubators in the Classroom' program reached over 400 students in 6 Johnson County schools during the 2015-16 school year. This week-long program gives the students a chance to raise farm animals in a classroom.
