Jay County Extension Homemakers would like to invite you to join their organization and/or participate in their many activities. Just fill out the Membership Form located at the bottom of this page and drop it off or mail it to the Jay County Extension Office, 126 N. Meridian, Portland, IN 47371.

Extension Homemakers are involved in many fun and educational activities throughout the county and state such as:
Ag Day Breakfast - Serving Breakfast
Jay County Fair Women's Building - Open Class competition open to any Jay County resident age 18 and over
First Books for Kids - benefitting pre-school children by reading and gifting books
IEHA District Retreat - A 2 day fun retreat held in Blackford County for Extension Homemakers
Living Well Conference - A one day conference with several educational and informative sessions
Home and Family Conference - a 3 day conference held at Purdue University.
CLUBS AND MEETING DATES
Budget Bells - Meeting on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m.
Noble Busy Bees - Meeting the 4th Thursday of the month at 9:00 a.m.
Penn "50" - Meeting the 3rd Friday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
Pike Friends 'N Neighbors - Meeting the 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
Redkey Town & Country - Meeting the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
If you find that these meeting dates cant fit your schedule or you are unable to attend regular monthly club meetings, you may want to consider the H.O.M.E. Membership. (Home Optional Membership for Education). Subscription is just $5.00 per year and includes membershiop dues and bi-monthly newsletter. HOME members may attend or participate in any of the county Extension Homemakers Actitivities.
