Would you like to get together with others and learn as well? The Howard County Extension Homemakers are a great group of people that also do a lot of wonderful community service as well.
Classes are scheduled for August 31, September 7, 14, 21 from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Howard County Government Building in room 101 at 120 East Mulberry St. Kokomo, IN. Registration deadline is August 26th.
Community Wellness Coordinators improve nutrition and health in limited-resource communities statewide by concentrating on NEP's five focus areas: diet quality, physical activity, food security, food safety and food resource management.
The Family Nutrition Program is a free, informal, and easily accessible educational program in the home and community, participants can develop knowledge and skill related to nutrition and meal planning, food purchasing and preparation, food safety and resource management.
