2017 Vigo County Leadership team
Congratulations to the inaugural class of Leadership Vigo County, a program provided by Purdue Extension Vigo County, who graduated earlier this month!
Wabash County Leadership Workshop
Members of the community came together on the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday to discuss diversity at the "Navigating Differences" workshop at Living Well Winchester Center in Wabash.
An Enhancing the Value of Public Spaces Workshop was held last week with Bartholomew County's Anderson Falls Park as the focus. Although it features a stunning waterfall and a 44-acre DNR Nature Preserve, Anderson Falls Park suffers from the challenges of an isolated location and a limited general fund budget.
2016 Vigo County Leadership team
Leadership Vigo County launched its inaugural class with 10 participants on August 25 at the West Vigo Library. Participants learned key characteristics of effective leaders and defined what community leadership means.
2016 Jasper County Leadership team
The first Leadership Jasper County class graduated recently.
2016 Clinton County Leadership team
Congratulations to the 15 graduates of Leadership Clinton County 2016 on completing 44 hours of training in conflict management, navigating difference, interpersonal communication and leadership style analysis, while gaining exposure to how economic development, education, healthcare and local government work in Clinton County.
2016 Vermillion County Leadership team
The sun was shining as The Beef House banquet room filled with sponsors, committee members and participants of Leadership Vermillion County. Twelve dedicated and motivated members of Vermillion County have been working hard since Sept. 9 to learn how to apply their skills and abilities to make Vermillion County a better place to live, work and play.
