The Purdue Master Gardener Program provides an opportunity for Indiana residents to increase their knowledge on a variety of horticultural subjects. The mission of the program is to provide research-based information and assistance in the areas of gardening and home horticulture through the use of trained and certified volunteers. Hendricks County will once again be offering a Purdue Master Gardener Basic Training Class. Classes are scheduled for Thursday mornings from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., beginning August 25 through December 1 at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds in Danville, IN.

The Indiana Extension Homemakers Association strives to strengthen homes and families through continuing education, leadership development and volunteer community support. The Hendricks County Extension Homemakers offer scholarships and a monthly teacher grant to Hendricks County educators.
