Local Faces Banner

This two-day conference, held in Danville, IN, is one of many of Purdue Extension's responses to educational needs of small farmers, meeting demands created by movements such as local food, sustainability, organic/natural foods, and a desire to "return to the farm."

40 people attended the pre-conference workshop, and 240 attended the main event consisting of 5 tracks with a total of 44 sessions and 32 vendors. The formal evaluation is not complete, but anecdotal responses have been very positive.
