MUDSOCKERS

meets on the 3rd Tuesday (October – June) from 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. in the Annex Building on the 4-H Fairgrounds.
The club is a mix of boys and girls taking a variety of projects. Meetings are geared toward helping 4-H’ers feel comfortable working as a group and having fun too. Everyone is given the opportunity to give a casual talk or demonstration which is incorporated into the agenda. In August an awards dinner is scheduled to honor all members of the club.

Meets the 2nd Monday of the month (no meetings in September, October or November, December, January) from 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. in the Exhibition Center Dining Room on the 4-H Fairgrounds.  Club members are predominantly girls and younger 4-H’ers who enjoy a variety of 4-H projects and community service activities.  The Officer Leadership team members plan and carry out monthly meetings and this Leadership team is newly elected annually.  The club has a closed Facebook page to share pictures and 4-H information. A family pitch-in fun event planned once during the year, usually for the July record completion and signatures.  Club meeting communications are sent out monthly via email to all members’ families. Dues are $5.00 per calendar year.

WESTFIELD CLOVERLEAVES

meet once or twice a month (traditionally on Monday) December - August at 7:00 p.m. at the New Joy Lutheran Church (316 W 156th St.).  Before each meeting, from 6:30—7:00 p.m. the club provides a themed fellowship dinner planned by the 4-H youth for all family members for a nominal fee of $2– 3 a person.  Dues consist of working a shift at the club’s Fruit Stand during the 4-H Fair.  This is an established club that is experiencing new growth . New members are welcome and parental involvement is encouraged.

FOUR LEAF CLOVER CLOGGERS

Meeting Dates & Location:
Every Tuesday in the Winks Building on the 4-H Fairgrounds (Beginners 6:30 – 7:30 p.m., Returning Dancers 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.). This specialty club teaches teamwork and coordination through clogging. Parents and siblings are welcome to dance with their child. There is a $3.00 donation for parents which goes toward the club’s outings, outfits, etc. Some activities include Share-the-Fun, workshops, and performances.

GIDDY-UP-GANG

Meeting Dates & Location:
Focuses mainly on the Horse & Pony project. Meetings are the 1st Monday of each month (except August through January) in the Exhibition Center Dining Room and Horse Arena on the 4-H Fairgrounds. Meetings are held as workshops in the Horse & Pony complex from mid-May until the county fair, and are EVERY Monday with additional days added. Dues are $10.00 for the 1st member with a maximum of $20.00 per family.

HAREY HOPPERS

Meeting Dates & Location:
Rabbit club meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in the Annex Building on the 4-H Fairgrounds. Information on rabbit care, project requirements and preparing for Rabbit Ambassador showmanship contest is shared at the meetings. Although the rabbit project is the main interest of this club as a specialty, Harey Hoppers is a full 4-H club for many 4-H youth and other projects are also taken. There are no formal dues to be paid to the club, however, all 4-H rabbit project members are asked to sign up for work duties during the fair.
