The National Swine Registry has their National Picture Judging Contest for youth and adults

open from December until February 1st.  There is no cost to participate, and it is open to anyone.

Title: Experience 4-H @ Goose Pond- Explore Conservation
What: Participants will explore the field of conservation by learning about ecological restoration and scouting for wildlife, including winter migratory birds, at Goose Pond Fish and Wildlife Area. Youth will also have the opportunity to explore careers in conservation by meeting expert guest speakers and will work with geographic information system (GIS) models.

Who: Youth grades 7-12

When: February 2nd, 2019 from 9:00am-4:30pm 
Where: Greene County Extension Office, Bloomfield, IN with a field trip to Goose Pond Fish and Wildlife Area

(current 4-H members will register via 4HOnline and youth who are not currently enrolled in 4-H will register through Qualtrics)

Cost: $20   
(credit card can be used in 4HOnline, otherwise check/cash can be mailed to the Indiana 4-H Office c/o Experience 4-H- Conservation)


Registration will be limited to 30 participants, but there will be a waiting list in case of cancellations and to gather information of youth interested in this subject matter.
