The Extension Homemakers Clubs are sponsoring an Adult & Youth Open Class in Home Economics at the county 4-H Fair. This event is open to any adult or youth (including 4-H members & others) who is a present resident of Clay County or who is a member of a Clay County Extension Homemakers or 4-H Club, if residing out of the county. The committee is urging all interested people to enter.
Extension Homemakers
The Clay County Extension Homemakers is an organized group of individuals consisting of 7 local clubs that include over 88 active members. Each club meets on a regular basis, providing group activities and volunteer opportunities for its members.

With the transformation outside associated with the leaves changing color, pumpkins and chrysanthemums showing up in yards, and harvest taking place, now is a great time to enjoy the outdoors in Clay County.
