He is a native botanist with special interest in environmental ethics and sustainable agriculture. When is a berry not a berry? Is there such a thing as a vegetable? ** Do you lie awake at night wondering what makes pears gritty? Why are red beets red? Join us for an evening of slide-illustrated instruction that includes hands-on study of plants from our garden and grocery.
