About

Purdue Extension of Adams County Purdue Extension will be providing a workshop on June 19, 2019 at 1PM at Adams County 4-H Fairgrounds Dining Hall, 160 W Washington Street, Monroe, Indiana.

This Butterfly Workshop will feature butterfly life cycles, butterfly facts and myths, and information on how to attract butterflies to you garden/yard.  Butterfly eggs, caterpillars in varying stages and butterflies should be available for viewing as mother nature permits.  Depending on availability, participants may take home butterfly eggs or caterpillars to raise and release. Participants will learn about pollinators and how important they are to our food system.  Pesticide free milkweed plants will be available for purchase for $5 each, cash only.
