Welcome Our Summer Assistant!
Hi, I’m Melissa Greenwell. I’m delighted to share that I’ve recently joined the talented team at Purdue Extension Harrison County as a Summer Assistant. I look forward to contributing to the success of the Extension mission and programming, and learning from my new colleagues along the way. I am a lifelong resident of Harrison County and graduated from Corydon Central High School. My family raises poultry. I enjoy traveling, studying history and genealogy, and serving others. I have been extensively involved in 4-H, joining as a youth and later becoming a
4-H parent, volunteer, superintendent, and council member. I served as Vice President of the Extension Board from 2018-2024. I am excited to continue my journey with Harrison County Extension in this new role in order to serve my community and work with an organization that makes a positive impact in people’s lives.
